I’ve completed the Turkish translation of my dear friend, London born Turkish Cypriot Soner Kioufi’s first book, The Green Line – Holiday in a Warzone in 2012.
It’s a true story of a family holiday plunged into war, all seen through the eyes of an eight year old child. The short family break was extended to more than three months as they ran from village to village avoiding the fighting during the Cyprus 1974 war.
