    I’m currently employed at a Chicago based translation agency Multilingual Connections LLC as a Senior Translation and Transcription Project Manager.

    My core duties include client communication, vendor management, project management (manage the project lifecycle for complex assignments, manage technical aspects of complex projects, including TM management, manage project finances, including budgeting and margins, monitor and control project status by setting timelines and evaluating progress perform checks at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy)

    I acted as the managing partner of Link Translations Inc.’s Istanbul, Turkey Office.

    I was responsible for developing strategy and direction for the Link Translations Turkey operations, establishing new business contacts, interacting with clients and recruiting employees, developing strategic marketing and sales plans and managing financial and physical resources to boost profits and efficiency.

    I was responsible for assisting the managers of Istanbul based direct marketing company in daily management operations, interacting with guests, clients, and associates to ensure excellent guest service and to communicate the goals of the management department. I handled the correspondence and interpreting services for company and Holland based international direct marketing association and translation of marketing related texts that helped company to develop its direct marketing business.

    I worked as an In House Turkish Translator at Set-Systems Translation Services’ Istanbul Office.

    I provided translation services for Istanbul based translation company, presented reports about the status of the assignments to upper management, and participated in the teams of translators for big translation projects.

    I gave services as Freelance Turkish Translator to Turkish News Weekly at Sydney Australia.

    I was the translator of the news about Australia for the leading newspaper for the Turkish community in Australia during the weekends and responsible for translating and editing the news, current affairs and Australian issues along with community based news for the weekly published newspaper.
